Coddy is a startup offering urban adventures where players follow scripted routes, guided by an app.
Job description
In order to accompany Coddy's geographical growth, we are looking for a Game Integrator using integrated tools for the configuration of new games in new cities, without physically going there.
After learning a scenario, the deployment of a game in a new city consists in:
- Selection of points of interest
Using data from multiple sources, selection of the POIs that are worth the detour or have a particular interest.
- Route configuration
For each scenario and according to the pre-selected POIs, the missions are placed on the map to create a pleasant itinerary with places visited as close as possible to the places described in the scenario (e.g. court, police, church, town hall).
- Writing specific puzzles
In order to improve the immersion and the link between the scenarios and the places visited, specific observation puzzles are created based on elements that can be found permanently in the situation, for example on monuments and buildings.
- Writing information on POIs
Based on freely available information, brief "tourist" information is written about the places visited during the game in order to offer them to players wishing to know more. These short texts are written in a light and playful way by privileging the 'fun facts' rather than the 'scholar' and historical information.
In addition to the deployment work described above, the Game Integrator will actively participate in Coddy's global strategy in collaboration with the marketing team, in particular :
- Establish the deployment roadmap (list of countries, cities and priorities)
- Propose improvements to the tools used to enhance future deployments
- Participate in the process of creating new scenarios and games
- Suggest new features to enhance the player experience
- Analysis and monitoring of the competition

Profile
The tasks described do not require a diploma or special skills. However, we are looking for a person who can work efficiently from home and especially in autonomy (without micro-management) and who can adapt to the tasks, processes and tools of a startup in constant evolution and improvement.
The Game Integrator will be able to choose their own working hours, in accordance with the objectives and expected results defined with the rest of the team.
Autonomy, creativity and flexibility are therefore the main qualities we are looking for.
Team
The Coddy team is currently composed of 5 people with various profiles (development, marketing, content, customer support). Although initially based in Brussels, Coddy now operates without an office. The team is mainly French speaking, but we all speak English and wish to internationalize and make our team more diverse. Any language in addition to English will be an asset.
