You work for the C.R.I.M.E. detective agency. Your boss has called you in for a briefing, and it is going to be a long day.

Threatening letters

Harold Walter, one of the richest men in the country, has been getting threatening letters for months. Plain old blackmail, or so everyone thinks at first. Everyone's wrong.

A bomb in town

The tycoon is being held hostage somewhere in town, a bomb strapped to him. Tick, tock. The countdown has started, and it will not wait for you.

Five suspects

His competitor, his wife, his secretary, his right-hand man, his lawyer. Places to visit, statements to collect, and truth to untangle from lies.

At the end of the investigation, you present your conclusions. Who did it? Why? How? Until then, expect a few surprises.

De vraag bij de Sint-kwintenskerk klopt niet, er stond 'vanuit het oosten' maar het moet 'naar het oosten' zijn.\nMisschien wat extra informatie geven over de gebouwen waar we stil staan/langs komen. \nVerder was het heel leuk en origineel!\n

The story and walkthrough is well made to be able to see and experience the city.\nUnfortunately when we were doing the questline we came across some hick-ups.\nOne occassion was in front of the main library where we had to spot 2 swords, which wasn't clear at all. (if you count the spear, I guess there were 2 swords then.)\n\nThe other occasion was where we had to find a quote/word near a door from an old chapel. (dragon) Which in our case wasn't there since they were renovating it.\n\nBesides those occasions the questline is challenging but easy to follow.

Do we have to pick a date?

No. Your code stays valid for 3 years from purchase. You start the game on whatever day and time suits you.

Can I give the game as a gift?

Yes. You receive the code by email and pass it on to whoever you like. It stays valid for 3 years with no date to set, so they play on whatever day suits them.

Is the game suitable for beginners?

Yes. The riddles call for observation and logic, not special knowledge, and hints get you going again if you are stuck. The game is recommended from age 12.

There are more than 6 of us, what do we do?

Take one code per team of up to 6 players. Teams set off at the same time and play the same route in parallel. The booking card works out the number of codes for you.

How many smartphones do we need?

One is enough for the whole team. Up to 6 phones can join the same game, handy if a battery runs low.

What if we get stuck on a riddle?

The Hint button in the app puts you on the right track, step by step. Each hint weighs a little on your final score, but nobody stays stuck.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, as long as the code has not been activated. Contact Coddy support before you start the game.
